Overview

Since 2014, China has held the China Agricultural Outlook Conference annually, with 11 sessions already held. 2025 is the final year of the 14th Five Year Plan and also the year of planning and layout for the 15th Five Year Plan. Strengthening monitoring and early warning is crucial for the stable development of agriculture. In order to strengthen the release of agricultural product market information and expected guidance, improve the coordination mechanism of agricultural product trade and production, and enhance the supply guarantee capability of important agricultural products such as grain, the 2025 Agricultural Outlook Conference is scheduled to be held in Beijing in April this year. The conference is supported by the Market Early Warning Expert Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA), Department of Market and Informatization of MARA, hosted by Agricultural Information Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and co-organized by the Information Center, the Rural Economic Research Center, the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center of MARA, the China Association of Agricultural Science Societies, the Big Data Development Center of MARA and the National Agricultural Exhibition Center.

Releasing China Agricultural Outlook Report

The conference will release China Agricultural Outlook Report (2025-2034), analyze the market situation and project the market trend.

Specialized presentation by commodity

Reports and presentations will forecast the agricultural supply and demand situation, covering rice, wheat, maize, soybean, cotton, oilseed, sugar, vegetable, fruit, meat, poultry eggs, dairy products, fish products, feed, etc.

Deliberation on hot topics in rural and agricultural development

AOC will organize seminars on pressing topics relating to China's agricultural development, including food security and changes in consumption structure, development of smart agriculture, coordination mechanism between agriculture trade and production, Agricultural Market Expectation Management, "AI+" Agricultural Monitoring and Early Warning, and development of Featured Agricultural Products.

Jointly carry out thematic activities related to agricultural outlook

Cooperate with relevant supporting units to carry out special activities around agricultural outlook exhibitions, service product releases, field discussions, etc.
