Overview
Since 2014, China has held the China Agricultural Outlook Conference annually, with 11 sessions already held. 2025 is the final year of the 14th Five Year Plan and also the year of planning and layout for the 15th Five Year Plan. Strengthening monitoring and early warning is crucial for the stable development of agriculture. In order to strengthen the release of agricultural product market information and expected guidance, improve the coordination mechanism of agricultural product trade and production, and enhance the supply guarantee capability of important agricultural products such as grain, the 2025 Agricultural Outlook Conference is scheduled to be held in Beijing in April this year. The conference is supported by the Market Early Warning Expert Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA), Department of Market and Informatization of MARA, hosted by Agricultural Information Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and co-organized by the Information Center, the Rural Economic Research Center, the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center of MARA, the China Association of Agricultural Science Societies, the Big Data Development Center of MARA and the National Agricultural Exhibition Center.

Content of the conference
Releasing China Agricultural Outlook Report
The conference will release China Agricultural Outlook Report (2025-2034), analyze the market situation and project the market trend.
Specialized presentation by commodity
Reports and presentations will forecast the agricultural supply and demand situation, covering rice, wheat, maize, soybean, cotton, oilseed, sugar, vegetable, fruit, meat, poultry eggs, dairy products, fish products, feed, etc.
Deliberation on hot topics in rural and agricultural development
AOC will organize seminars on pressing topics relating to China's agricultural development, including food security and changes in consumption structure, development of smart agriculture, coordination mechanism between agriculture trade and production, Agricultural Market Expectation Management, "AI+" Agricultural Monitoring and Early Warning, and development of Featured Agricultural Products.
Jointly carry out thematic activities related to agricultural outlook
Cooperate with relevant supporting units to carry out special activities around agricultural outlook exhibitions, service product releases, field discussions, etc.
Date and Venue
Conference date: April 20th (Sunday) -21st (Monday), 2025, registration on April 19th, with a duration of 2 days.
Conference venue: Lecture Hall of National Agricultural Library, Agricultural Information Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (No. 12 Zhongguancun South Street, Haidian District, Beijing)
Registration location: representatives from outside Beijing could register at the hotel all day on April 19th, and representatives from Beijing could register at the venue from 7:30am to 9:00am on April 20th.

The participants mainly include leaders of relevant ministries and commissions, leaders of agricultural authorities in various provinces (regions, cities), relevant researchers and experts, industry associations, agricultural enterprises, consulting institutions, agricultural finance securities and futures practitioners, agricultural production and operation entities, international organizations and representatives of relevant countries, domestic and foreign news media, etc.

Participants can register via email, conference website, WeChat official account, fax, etc. The registration deadline for the conference is April 11, 2025.
If the attending representatives complete the payment before April 18, 2025, the registration fee for the conference is 2000 yuan/person, and 1500 yuan/person for current students; The conference registration fee is 2200 yuan/person for representatives who pay on-site, and 1600 yuan/person for current students. Please make sure to indicate 'Agricultural Outlook Conference' when processing the remittance, in order to check and issue electronic invoices.

The conference accommodation and meals can be arranged uniformly, and the expenses are self funded. Accommodation will be arranged at the welcome building of Beijing Friendship Hotel and the reception center of the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. If attending representatives need to book accommodation, please select the hotel reservation in the conference receipt.
