The convening of the Agricultural Outlook Conference and the launching of agricultural outlook report are significant means of releasing the agricultural market information authoritatively, and important initiatives to improve China’s status in the international agricultural market. This has become common practices of many countries and international organizations. China has convened Agricultural Outlook Conference (AOC) and launched China Agricultural Outlook Report for the past five consecutive years since 2014. In a bid to promote the agricultural supply-side structural reform, strengthen the leading role played by market information in agricultural development, and restructure and upgrade agriculture sector, the "2019 China Agricultural Outlook Conference" will be held in Beijing, from 20-21 April, 2019. This event, sponsored by Market Early Warning Expert Committee of Ministry of Agriculture, will be hosted by Agricultural Information Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

Releasing China Agricultural Outlook Report. The conference will release China Agricultural
Outlook (2019-2028), analyze the market situation and project the market trend.
Specialized presentation by commodity. Reports and
presentations will forecast the
agricultural supply and demand situation, covering rice, wheat, maize, soybean, cotton, oilseed, sugar,
vegetable, fruit, meat, poultry eggs, dairy products, fish products, feed, etc.
Deliberation on hot topics in rural and agricultural
development. AOC will organize
seminars on pressing topics relating to China's agricultural development, including rural vitalization,
E-commerce and poverty alleviation, agricultural monitoring and early-warning, international trade and
